I have been appointed to the UNESCO Chair in Information and Computer Ethics.

I have been elected Fellow of the Society for the Study of Artificial Intelligence and the Simulation of Behaviour (AISB). Founded in 1964, the AISB is the oldest artificial intelligence society in the world.

Dr Dave Ward has been appointed Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the AHRC project  "The Construction of Personal Identities Online".
